USM Peace Club

The Universal Solidarity Movement is an attempt to light a candle instead of cursing the darkness. It aims at helping people rediscover their interrelatedness not only to one another but also to nature and all creation – building a civilization of love. With this perspective Angelites conduct Nature Prayer Meetings to inculcate the five paths and bring forth personal transformation. To foster a sense of responsibility and co-operation, secondary students with great dedication, took up remedial classes for the primary section of Hindi Medium. In the month of September USM students organized a week long prayer service and visited Old Age Homes. Here they interacted with the inmates and shared their woes and sufferings. Shawls and eatables were presented to them as token of love.
