Biology Lab

The spacious, well ventilated Biology lab caters to the requirement of senior students keeping the latest syllabus in mind the models, specimens, charts; chemicals etc have been well planned. Besides, the lab is self sufficient with other necessary sees such as hot case, microscopes and water bath etc. The well qualified teachers and lab assistants are yet another assets for the lab.The Bio lab gives an experience to the students in all aspects of the subjects. There are live and preserved specimens of plants and animals to facilitate course experiments. There is good collection of permanent slides that proves to be a wealth of information for the students. All the experiments are carried out under vigilance. Besides the experiments, all the activities as per the NCERT requirement are also executed in the lab.

The students are encouraged to present their innovative ideas and creativity through various experiments, model projects etc. Individual attention is paid to the creative students to motivate and encourage them. The problem solving method and the projects method are used to a great extent which beats the monotony of the text book method. Interesting projects help sustain and satisfy the curiosity of the budding scientists. “Learning by doing” remain the motto. Extensive use is made of the OHP, as well as the Net facilities.
